Celebration Condominium

Welcome to our Celebration Condo. Below is some info to help you get comfortable and ‘turn on’ the unit.

GETTING THERE:

📍 First, here is the address … GOOGLE MAP

For some reason Google (& Apple Maps) routes you to the garage. You’ll want to stay on Ironsmith Drive and find the front porch for unit 104.

GETTING IN:

🔒 We have a digital lock on the door. You should have gotten the 6-digit code from us already. If you don’t have it, just call us.

GUEST ROOMS

There are 2 guest rooms & 2 bathrooms in the condo. You are welcome to use either. We call them the ‘Starfish Suite’ (King Bed) and ‘Twin Suite’ (Twin XLs).

There are hangers, a luggage rack, and other things in the closets. Feel free to borrow pillows from either bedroom.

SETTING UP:

There are a couple things you need to do to get things up and running.

❄️ First, the thermostat is on the wall in the main room. You can adjust it manually while you are here. We keep it at 77-degrees when we’re gone, but it cools down quickly.

💦 Next, the water is turned off when we’re gone. Go down the long hallway to the laundry room and open the closet. The water main comes into the unit here, above the small water heater.

Turn the lever (that says ‘WATTS’) in the direction of the pipe to allow the water to flow:

👕 If you are doing laundry, you’ll notice that the water to the washer is also turned off. Just turn the levers to the right to open the valves.

🐞 Next, the drains are covered up when we’re gone – in the event that some Florida critters want to move in. Just remove the rubber covers and open the drain stoppers for each sink. Not a bad idea to run the water for a 30-seconds or so for each sink.

📺 The TV in the main room is plugged in and connected to the internet. The Wi-Fi codes are written on the router on the left shelf of the entertainment center. Wi-Fi speed is good, but cell coverage isn’t great in this far corner of Celebration.

📷 We use a WiFi camera in the living room when we’re gone. Just put something over it while you are here. Don’t forget to uncover it when you leave.

STAYING HERE:

💡 The table lamps are connected to our Alexa devices (including the TV). Just say, “Alexa, turn ON / OFF Celebration Lights”.

🚘 The SUV is in the garage. Keys are in the basket on the kitchen counter. Please double check that the garage door isn’t LOCKED before opening it! There is a sliding lock on the right side of the door.

⚡️ There is a garage door opener in the car that works on the door.

💵 The license plate is registered with the toll roads, so you can go through the automatic “SUNPASS” lanes wherever you need to.

🍕 Feel free to use any of the food you find in the house. We leave sealed cans/bottles in the refrigerator and tuck everything else in the freezer. The closest Publix is at Celebration Pointe (MAP).

🗑️ There are two places you can take your garbage while you are here. Go out the garage and look for the roll-up garage doors in these two corners of the building. Just slide the lock & roll up the door. There’s a dumpster inside both spots.

🪑 There are two porch chairs in the garage. Feel free to bring them around and put them out while you are here.

🚴 There are lots of trails in Celebration. Our bikes are in the garage. Feel free to use them. (Note: Eric’s bike has a flat tire as of September 2024 – haven’t gotten it in yet)

🍹 There’s a frozen drink blender in the kitchen. The top is in the cupboard above it – along with some tiki glasses. Feel free to use it. It’s easy. Directions are here … LINK. Don’t forget to empty the water reservoir in the back after the extra ice melts.
